IMPORTANT

CAREFULLY READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FITTING THE BATTERY.

Test battery voltage before installing, press the black button on the top (This will click when activated). If the voltage indicator reads approximate 13.0v (That means normal).

Check the layout of the battery compared to the one it is replacing I.E. that the positive & negative terminals are not connected the wrong way round.

When connecting take care that tools and other items around the installation do not ‘bridge’ the positive & negative terminals.

Do not over tighten fixing bolts / screws.

After installation, test the initial starting current. If the voltage drops to approximate 12.5v (That is normal). At an increased idle speed of 3000 rpm, the normal voltage should be around 14.2v.

TURN OFF VOLTAGE INDICATOR AFTER USE.

If a short circuit does occur, the short circuit protection system will be activated. Disconnect the battery cables from both terminals to reset, ensuring they are re-connected correctly.

A specialist 12v (No more than 3A output current) LiFePO4 Lithium Ion charger must be used. Use of ‘conventional’ lead acid chargers will immediately invalidate any warranty.
